What's her story?
There is a new dog at the shelter. She's been named Sedona, and she's a handful. After watching her for a couple of days, I wonder what her story is. She was surrendered by someone who got her from someone else. If you move too fast, she cringes. When I go to let her out in the mornings, she cowers when I open the gate. When I get down to her level, she licks my face frantically. She's also a beautiful girl, a beagle mix with unique markings. I'm going to try to get a photo this week.
She isn't, however, afraid of other dogs. We have a great big boxer mix named Marmie, another female, and whenever Sedona gets into the yard, she runs down the runs to Marmie's run, and they fight through the fence. Now, Marmie probably makes 2-1/2 of Sedona. I let them fight for a moment or two, then put Sedona on leash and walk her through the yard. She'll have to get used to the other dogs sooner or later.
I wonder what happened to her. It's pretty obvious she was treated most unkindly. Except for disliking the other girls, she's a sweet natured dog. I hope she finds a wonderful home where she can be queen bee.

My dog, adopted from a shelter, was also scared of everything. He got better after a year with me. Now he's a perfect little cocker spaniel.
What hospital do you take Brownie too? I'd like to start my puppy as a therapy dog and I don't know where to begin.
